To Submit a Compensation Request you must download:

Complete the request form yourself. If you know or suspect where and when you were exposed to asbestos, please describe it as accurately as possible.

The medical certificate must be completed by your doctor (specialist, general practitioner, etc.). Don’t forget to attach the requested medical documents.

Send the completed documents by mail to the following address:

  • Are You Recognized as a Victim of an Asbestos-Related Disease?

    If so, you can request assistance from another person if you need help with moving around, preparing meals, bathing, shopping, or other daily tasks.

    To apply for this assistance, ask your doctor to complete the “Assistance by Another Person” form and send it by mail, along with your latest medical documents, to the following address:

  • When you submit a request to Fedris, the Asbestos Fund will automatically check your eligibility for diseases it recognizes, and the same applies in reverse.

  • A request can be submitted by the victim or by one or more of their beneficiaries.

    When a victim dies from the disease for which they were recognized by the Asbestos Fund, a letter is sent to the identified beneficiaries, informing them that they can submit a request related to the death. This letter includes a form to complete and return within one month.

    If no form is returned within this period, a reminder letter is sent, granting a new one-month period to respond. If there is still no response after this second period, the case processing is suspended. However, if the beneficiaries submit a request later, the procedure can be reactivated, and the request will be processed without any maximum time limit.

    If the victim did not submit a recognition request during their lifetime, the beneficiaries then have six months from the date of death to submit a request.
